It has been a a little over 2 months since I have last written on my blog. After my daughter left I was a little bummed well maybe a lot! She got to Cairo fine and is all set up for her new married life. I am back to work at the school after spending a long time working outside in summer camp as a camp director. What fun that was! Temperatures over 95 degrees or above, working with a interesting group of counselors that range in age from 15-65 year of age. We had our usually fun kids from the one that was the human map who you can ask for direction to anywhere and he could tell you how together road by road. Yes we checked the maps and he was always right. Never a miss. He also have enough gas to get you there as well. I had the young child who's father came up to me to ask if I could talk to a young boy about asking if he could put his limo in another campers (her) garage. They were both in the 5-6 year old group. I had the group of teen ages that love to fall out of the canoes everything they went in the creek and then they would just get soaking wet. I had to many to count young counselors that thought it was OK to fall a sleep where their campers were playing and could not figure out why I would get so up set at them. And all the special needs parents that just can not under stand when you send your child to camp that is held out side and their little sweeties are going to come home dirty, maybe with a scratch or two and even possible a bug bite. But all in all it was a great time at camp and I guess I miss it just a little bit. I got to dance during the rock concert with my little man and also at the pool during water Zumba with my good Caterpillar friend. I got to stay outside when everyone else went in during the rain storm to put everything away and tell parents where to pick up there young ins. I got screamed at by a professional football player that told me he makes more money then me and that I would not do anything better then this camp for the rest of my life. ( That's ok I told him I love children and would be willing to do this anytime) Yes I had 3 young men come to my defense and what great young men they were! I also had this wonderful football player come by a few days late to apology's to me for what he said. I also got in trouble about being nicer to the campers then to the parents. To bad for them.
Well that's all for today will try to do more soon. It is Back to School and Prime Time now. Until next time :)

I have finally gotten to chat with Stephanie

After a long hot weekend with no A/C until Sunday afternoon I was able to chat with my daughter on facebook it was so much fun. First it was Melissa, then Stephanie and along came Elaine to chat so it was a 4 way until I called the NJ family and they got to get on chat with as well I was so happy that she got to talk to everyone almost since she has left. No Apt/flat as of yet but she is still looking. Rob has gotten his job and is in training now. So that is good as well. I have a wonderful time at the shower on Sat. well lets just almost all of it was great. but that is for another day. Today was a little better then it has been this past week it only got up to the high 80's. Then I came home to fight with the UPS company as I paid for a shipment to be delivered on Friday and it is Monday at 5:00 pm and it is still not here. And their slogan is "We Deliver" Right! Well I would like to know when it is they do the delivery. Work was also calm today as well so maybe this week will be a good one. Hope everyone is having a wonderful day and will chat with you soon.

I am in Class to day
I am in class today for Intermediate Dream weaver with CS4 and I have found out that Stephanie and Rob got to Cairo safely and are in their hotel room today they are going to look for a flat. I am hoping that I will hear from them tonight or this weekend. Patty got to skype them yesterday and said they look great but tired.
I am happy I do don't have to spend the day outside in the 90+ weather. The AC is wonderful today and working on the computer is what I love most. I will hopefully be able after this class to up date my school web site and maybe make one for my family who knows. I am keeping busy and not worrying about the kids so much. After class will be going to Y Camp so I can close it and let my friend Amy go home and rest as she is expecting a little Cook soon. (Thanksgiving). After that I will be going home to rest and take it easy. Have a great day everyone as I need to pay attention to my class so I will know what I am doing. Hugs and Kisses to all.

It is Wed. night she has left and touched down at JFK and had dinner with loving family members in New York then back on a plane to fly all night and day to land in Cairo. I was hard and my eyes have no more tears in them but my heart is proud and happy that they are taking this leap in their life and starting on a wonderful adventure together. Enjoy yourselves and remember you only live once, make it the best one you can. I am waiting to hear that you landed safely and are going to skype me soon. Love you passed Pluto.
Today is the Day!

It is early in the morning getting ready for work with the girls R&R just chased after the kitten who tried to escape. (but I got him back) I look around my house and there are suitcases everywhere, I just put a picture of the two of us in her bag so she will have it to see me everyday (Thanks Elaine for the pictures you made up of us). I know I can do this but it will be hard. I will leave for work in a few minutes then come back to take them down to the airport. That is going to be the hardest thing I will ever have to do. I thought leaving her at college was going to be the worst but I was mistaken this is it. At least in college I still was able to see her and hug on here and have girl time every once and a while. There is no way I will be able to just hop on a plane when I miss her for a little girl time. December, you better get here fast, I hope I can hold out. I will have to make sure I come back this afternoon to tell you all how it went when we kissed and hugged good bye. Have to go now the tears are coming once again, off to work, I will chat at you later. Missing you past Pluto!

She's leaving on a jet plane.

This will be the first of many post about losing my daughter and new son in law to Cairo where she will be following her dreams and working there. I am so very happy for her and sad at the same time as we are so very close. I will try to be strong and not cry to hard when she gets out of the car and leaves on that Jet Plane. But I do know she will be back again just not soon enough. This is all that I can post now as I am starting to tear up thinking about it. I hope she will post often and with lots of pictures. I am starting to count the days to when I will be seeing her once again. Good Night for now. Love you past Pluto! Stephanie and Rob.
